Skilling the youth of Tamil Nadu
The Government of Tamil Nadu launched its ambitious skill development scheme, Naan Mudhalvan, on 1 March 2022, with the foresight to create youth who can excel and lead from the front. The scheme streamlines the state's skill development initiatives by providing training in skills of choice, creating employment opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and organising upskilling programmes that help youth adapt to changing global trends.
St. Anne's College of Engineering and Technology (SANCET) has been at the forefront of providing holistic education through an industry-linked curriculum, conducting skill development programmes through its Centres of Excellence and Student Professional Chapters. The college's vision aligns with Naan Mudhalvan, and we firmly believe our participation widens the scope for student development.
The Naan Mudhalvan platform gives college students up-to-date information on courses and industry-specific skill offerings, enabling students of Tamil Nadu to train in their chosen field and achieve their career goals.

Mission
To integrate the efforts of the various departments engaged in skilling the youth of Tamil Nadu; bring scale, synergy, oversight and effective coordination to skill development schemes; promote public–private partnership, including CSR, in skill development; and support placements.
Naan Mudhalvan provides free, employment-linked skill development training to youth aged 18–35 across the state, under various state and centrally sponsored schemes.
