Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
Our college has an Internal Committee constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the UGC Regulations, 2016. The Committee investigates complaints of sexual harassment on campus, in online sessions, and in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organised by the college — including any physical, verbal or non-verbal behaviour of a sexual nature by students, faculty or non-teaching staff.
Complaints are looked into in a time-bound manner without infringing on the privacy of the complainant.
- Email your complaint to the Committee.
- Request a meeting with the Committee through the telephone operator.
- Approach any Committee member on campus.
- Complaints are handled confidentially and within a fixed time.
- Two formal meetings a year, plus additional meetings whenever required.
- Workshops for faculty, staff and students on personal security and gender justice.
