Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Webinar on " Problem Solving Methods (WHY-WHY Analysis)” on 18.09.2021 between 10:00AM to 11:00AM. .  Mr.S.Prem Anand M.E, M.Tech M.B.A, (Ph.D) Plant Head Operations, KUS Automotice India Ltd, Chennai was the resource person for the program. The Webinar link was assigned for all participants at 8.00 am and 9.00 am via e-mail. 58 students  participated in the Webinar.

The resource person explained about the importance of decision making techniques in engineering problems. He defined the term problem in detail with the practical example and analyzed the reason for failure by asking Why-Why question. Students learned to diagnose the problem by the enquiry of why.

Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a Webinar on '"Reliability Management”on 11.09.2021 between 10:00 am to 11:00am.  Mr.R.Nachiyappan B.E, M.B.A (IIT) L& T-DGM (Defence) was the resource person for the program. The Webinar link was assigned for all participants at 8.00AM and 9.00AM via e-mail. 55 participants attended the Webinar.

The resource person explained in detail about the three manageable roles of loss elimination, risk Management, and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM). He also explained the difference between quality and reliability with the real time examples. Students gained some basic knowledge on reliability by this webinar.

Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a Webinar on '"Composite Materials” on 04.09.2021 between 11:00AM to 12:00PM.  Dr.R.Anbazhagan M.E., M.B.A, Ph.D., ASP- Veltech Hitech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College was the resource person for the program. The Webinar link was assigned for all participants at 9.00AM and 10.00AM via e-mail. 60 participants attended the Webinar.

The resource person explained about the opportunities for the Engineers in the Hybrid composite nano materials. He highlighted the need of natural composite in various fields. He also focused the future trend on the Metal matrix composites with fiber reinforcement such as carbon fiber, glass fiber and aramid fiber. Students were really benefited a lot by this interactive webinar.

Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a Webinar on ''College to Company (C2C)" on 24-08-2021 from 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM.  Er.K.GOPINATH Sr. ENGINEER, RENAULT NISSAN LTD., was the resource person for this program. The Webinar link assigned for all participants at 8.00AM and 9.00AM via e-mail. Nearly 72 participants were attended the Webinar.

The resource person presented about the future development of Mechanical industries and also explained about the opportunities for the Engineers in various industrial and Governmental sectors. The students can enter into high salary Mechanical Jobs in fields like Aerospace, Military, Civil Highway construction, etc., by the GATE exam score. The students were motivated to start preparation for GATE exam from second year onwards and to attend the exam from third year of engineering studies. The students were really benefited to choose their own career path by this webinar.

Conducted one day webinar on  “Guidelines For Anna University Online Mode Examinations 2021 ” presented by Mr. A.Rajarajan, Assistant Professor, CSE Department ,organized by Department of Electrical and Electronics  Engineering, St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti ,on 22^nd  January  2021.

A Two day National Level workshop on “Internet of Things (IoT) for Smart Applications” was conducted by Mr.S.BalaBaskar, Associate professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for the final year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Diploma students of ECE department, Annai Velankanni Polytechnic college from 29.08.2019 to 30.08.2019 at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti.

A one day workshop on “SCILAB” was conducted by Mr.R.Radhakrishanan, and Mr.B.Arunkumar, Assistant Professors, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for the Third year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 31.07.2019 at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti.

A Two day workshop on “Electronic circuit design in E-Sim” was conducted by Mrs.D.Umamaheswari, Associate Professor and Mr.S.Durairaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for the second year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering from 19.07.2019 to 20.07.2019 at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti.

A Seminar on “Awareness programme on doing online courses” was conducted by Mr.S.BalaBaskar, Associate professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering,  for the Third year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti on 12.07.2019.

A Two day workshop on “Digital Image Processing Using MATLAB” was conducted by Dr.Sr.Anita, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for the Final year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering from 04.07.2019 to 05.07.2019 at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti.

Workshop on “Electronic Circuit Design using E-Sim” was conducted by Mr.S.Durairaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for the second year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 11.01.2020 at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti.

A workshop on “MS-OFFICE PACKAGES” was organized by the Department of Science and Humanities, for the I year ECE and CSE students on 16^th February 2019. Mr. S. Manavalan, ASP/CSE & Mrs. K. Poornambigai, AP/CSE was the resource persons of the event.

A seminar on “Perform Calculations Using a Scientific Calculator” was presented by          Dr. A.John Peter, Professor and Head, Department of Science and Humanities, for the I year students on 16th February 2019. 

A two days workshop on “Hands-on Training for Arduino for IOT Applications” was conducted by Mr. S. Balabaskar, Associate Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mr. V. Balaji, Assistant Professor for the III year students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St .Anne’s College of engineering and Technology, Panruti on 5th and 6th September,  2018.

A motivational seminar  on “Self-Motivation and Confidence Building” was presented by Mr. D. Ommurugadhasan, Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering for the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St .Anne’s College of engineering and  Technology, Panruti on  4th September, 2018.

A seminar on “NPTEL AWARENESS PROGRAM” was presented by Mr. J. Ramesh, Assistant Professor and Mr. A. Sundara Pandiyan, Assistant Professor for all the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St .Anne’s College of engineering and  Technology, Panruti on 18th  July,  2018.

A three day Workshop on “Java Programming” was conducted by Mr.V.Arulraj, Technical Trainer, CDAC-St.Patrick Software Solutions, Puducherry for II year students of Computer Science and Engineering at St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Panruti on 26^th to 28^th August, 2019. The students learned the fundamentals of object-oriented programming in Java, including defining classes, interfaces, creating objects, invoking methods, using packages.

A one day workshop was conducted in the stream of Testing and study of Electronic Devices by Mr. Raja from Raja Electronics Institute on 14th Feb 2015. In this workshop the II year students of ECE were exposed to testing of various electronic devices. They also learned repairing the parts of colour Television.\r\n
