Quality as a continuous, conscious effort
Based on the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Anne's College of Engineering and Technology (SANCET) was established in 2022 to plan, monitor and evaluate quality measures in the teaching–learning process, research and extension activities.
Quality upgradation measures are initiated to promote the assessment and accreditation process, and to ensure quality-based value education for our students. Since its inception, the IQAC has been constantly involved in the quality enhancement activities of SANCET.

IQAC Composition
Members nominated as per NAAC guidelines.
- Designing and implementing annual plans for institution-level activities for quality enhancement.
- Arranging feedback responses from students for quality-related institutional processes.
- Developing and applying quality benchmarks / parameters for academic and administrative activities.
- Retrieving information on quality parameters of higher education and best practices followed by other institutions.
- Organising workshops and seminars on quality-related themes and promoting quality circles.
- Developing and applying innovative practices in programmes and activities that lead to quality enhancement.
- Working towards internalisation and institutionalisation of quality enhancement policies and practices.
- Acting as the nodal unit of the institution for augmenting quality-related activities.
